Ridhima to play a child robot

Actress Ridhima Pandit who rose to fame as the lovable robot in the series Bahu Humari Rajni_Kant will soon be seen playing another interesting character in the same show. The actress is now all set to don the look of a little girl — complete with a cute red frock and two ponytails — in the upcoming episodes of the show. Playing a kid isn’t an easy task but the actress sportingly took up the challenge.

Talking about the same, Ridhima says, “As an actress it’s very important to take up challenges. It gives you a new high. I am glad the show is giving me lot of opportunities to prove my mettle as an actress. I have played a humanoid and now I am getting to play a child humanoid. Playing a kid would have been easier but essaying a robotic kid is a difficult task. More so because I have to make sure I don’t overdo things and appear as real as possible while breaking into things that kids generally do.”

The actress further adds, “I was so excited to play a kid that I personally got involved in designing this look. It’s actually similar to the way I used to dress in school. I got a lot of compliments for the look and my performance. The encouragement and admiration has motivated me to continue doing unconventional roles.”
