Nakuul finds a quirky way to beat the heat

Popular TV actor Nakuul Mehta is all set to make a comeback as a leading man in the upcoming show Ishqbaaaz. The show, which follows the story of three brothers —Omkar, Rudra and Shivaay, will see Nakuul portraying the role of Shivaay, the eldest of the three. In the show, the brothers are heirs to a prominent business family—the Oberois, and hence the actors had to wear designer clothes to portray super-rich characters. However, wearing a blazer or a suit all the time can be quite taxing considering summer’s in full swing now. During one of the shoots, While all the other actors had to brave the heat, Nakuul apparently found an interesting way to beat the heat. He explains, “We were shooting this sequence in the middle of May, and by noon the sun was tearing our heads apart. It was getting very difficult to shoot in those conditions. So the minute the shot was done, even before the director could shout ‘pack up’, I jumped into the pool with my blazer on to escape the heat. I had the entire costume department and crew staring at me in horror. The instant I realised the blunder I committed, I smiled sheepishly and continued to enjoy the respite from the heat.”
