Defamation case against Sunny Leone

Television personality Pooja Misrra has filed a defamation case against Sunny Leone

Model and television actress Pooja Misrra has filed a criminal complaint under section 199 of CR.P.C. (defamation) against Sunny Leone at a metropolitan court in Mumbai. Earlier known to have hurled similar accusations at actress Sonakshi Sinha, Pooja says in her complaint letter that Sunny tried to overshadow her on reality show Bigg Boss, tried to malign her name in interviews with the media and also along with her husband Daniel Weber, made attempts to sabotage her work.

The war started five years ago when two appeared on reality show Bigg Boss and has been getting murkier since. Pooja got particularly riled up when a contestant of Splitsvilla, a show hosted by Sunny, was called Pooja Misrra. Misrra has alleged that it was done with the sole purpose of demeaning her.

Reads the complaint letter, “The complainant states that she was the most popular contestant on Big Boss 5 on Colors channel, the accused was roped into the show at a much later stage as a wild card entry out of sheer malice and jealousy just to overshadow unsuspecting innocent victim of a complainant. Sunny Leone started giving defamatory interviews against the complainant who at that time was everyone’s favorite and was on various news channels everyday due to her presence on the show Big Boss.”

The extensive complaint letter includes 10 more sharp accusations against Sunny.
