Among video game releases for the week of May 31, "One Piece: Burning Blood" proves a worthy animé tie-in, the latest "Hitman" expansion takes us to Marrakesh, the very well reviewed "Steamworld Heist" arrives on PlayStation platforms from 3DS, "Daydreamer" tries its luck on console after a good start on PC, "Dead Island" and its sequel crash down on PS4 and XBO, and "Dangerous Golf" causes a ruckus in delicate situations.

1. One Piece: Burning Blood For: PS4, XBO, PlayStation Vita From: May 31 in North America, June 3 in European regions. Since April in Japan. Developer of the cult "Danganronpa" and "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon" franchises, Spike Chunsoft turns its hand to the hugely successful "One Piece" animé with this cartoon-style fighting game. According to Japanese magazine Famitsu, it's no "Pirate Warriors 3," but is a very decent title nonetheless.

2. Hitman: Marrakesh For: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC From: May 31 Navigate the sights, sounds, and suspects in a market, makeshift military base, Swedish consulate and protest rally in the city of Marrakesh, Morocco, providing even greater challenges than a previous add-on for Sapienza.

3. SteamWorld Heist HD For: PS4, Vita From: May 31 Skitter about enemy spaceships with your crew of steampowered robots, battle for the best loot, and level up your lackeys as progress is made. Very well received upon its earlier Nintendo 3DS release. Xbox One, iOS, Wii U, Mac and PC versions to follow.

4. Daydreamer: Awakened Edition From May 31 for PlayStation 4, June 3 for Xbox One. Olivia wakes from long-term statis to find her home planet, now a wasteland, has been colonized by slightly grotesque aliens. With strange new powers, she's off on a mission to find her brother. Well received by players on PC platform Steam since an August 2015 launch.

5. Dead Island: Definitive Collection For: PlayStation 4, Xbox One From: May 31 One of 2011's sensations, gruesome zombie survival adventure "Dead Island," upgraded for new consoles together with immediate sequel. “Dead Island: Riptide” plus retro-style incentive “Dead Island: Retro Revenge”.

6. Dangerous Golf For: PS4, XBO, WinPC From: June 3 Minigolf with a shot of adrenaline from some of the developers behind the original “Burnout” car racing and wrecking franchise. Try potting your shot in confined and fragile circumstances, detonating your golf ball at just the right moment to cause maximum damage.
