Samsung remains to be the first choice of many smartphone buyers across the world and it continues to witness ever-rising sales and demand. However, the company which keeps fighting it closely when it comes to premium phones is Apple with its iPhone models.

Buyers are often confused between Samsung's flagships and iPhones. However, before you go on to make a final decision, you must know what the data and security erasure company Blancco found out in a recent survey.

The report mainly focusses on the failure rates of mobiles from Samsung and iPhones. While iPhones are found to be prone to failure at some extent, Samsung handset's have been found much more unreliable when it comes to failure rate.

For all those who need accurate numbers, iPhone 6 has shown the highest percentage of failure chances among other Apple devices which stands at 22 per cent. It is followed by iPhone 6S at 16 per cent.

All the other iPhones have shown a much lower rate of failure with iPhone 7 at 8 per cent, iPhone 7 Plus at 7 per cent. Well, iPhone X and iPhone 8 Plus have shown the lowest rate of failure at 3 per cent both.

Coming to the Samsung handsets, the South Korean manufacturer showcased a poor show in the chart as its smartphones possessed the failure rate of whopping 27.4 per cent. Notably, this is higher than any other Android device available in the market.

The problems which iPhones face are linked to their connectivity. Bluetooth feature has been found to be a glitch in most of the iPhones along with Wi-Fi, mobile data and headset. However, Android devices face the hardest brunt in terms of performance.
