Google Pixel 2 receives major price cut on Flipkart

Google’s latest offering in premium smartphone segment — Pixel 2, which was globally launched in October, has received a major price cut on Flipkart. With Christmas around the corner, Flipkart is holding a 3 day long Big Shopping Days. The offer is for a limited time period which starts on Thursday, December 7 and end on December 9.

The Google Pixel 2’s base model with 64GB storage is originally priced at Rs 61,000 in India, while the 128GB variant is priced at Rs 71,000. Users will get a major discount of Rs 11,001 which brings down the price to Rs 49,999.

Moreover, credit/ debit card users will get Rs 10,000 off on the phone that brings down the price of Pixel 2 to Rs 39,000. Flipkart is also giving an additional cashback of up to Rs 18,000 on an exchange. The phone on Flipkart is available in three colour variants — Kinda Blue, Clearly White and Just Black.

The Pixel 2 sports a 5-inch Cinematic full-HD display with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and will come in two storage variants — 64GB and 128GB. The company is also offering unlimited cloud storage for pictures and videos to the users.

On the photography front, the handset boasts a 12.2MP rear camera with f/1.8 with autofocus and laser + dual pixel phase detection, OIS as well as EIS. The Pixel 2 draws power from a 2700mAh battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 2.4G, Bluetooth 5.0 and a USB Type-C port.
