Children Academy (Malad) emerged champions defeating Combined Schools 2-1 in the final of the Inter-Schools Champions League Hockey tournament organized by the St. Peter's Youth Centre at the St. Stanislaus High School, Bandra.

Om Rathod and Rythm Mamnia scored a goal each for Children Academy, while Combined Schools scored one through Govind Nag.

Rythm Mamnai was later adjudged as the ‘Player of the final’, while Govind Nag was declared as the ‘Player of the tournament’. SPYC also presented three ‘Best goalkeeper’ awards to Chris Johnson (Don Bosco), Reuben D'Souza (St. Stanislaus) and Kamran Shaikh (Combined School). In the Veterans Men’s Hockey League final, Sea View prevailed over Bombay Republicans by a 2-1 margin. Laxman Rao and Olympian Dhanraj Pillay netted a goal each for the winners while Meghraj S. pulled one back for the losers.
