Sonam-Anand reception: Aishwarya, SRK, Katrina, Ranbir, Alia, others shine

After their marriage earlier in the day, Sonam and Anand looked beautiful as newlyweds smiling for the cameras. Sonam chose a Anamika Vakil outfit – a full length lehenga choli with silk dupatta covering her sides while Anand was dressed in a classic black and white sherwani suit.

The couple was already popular for their PDA on social media, but now that they are married, it’s moved to real world for fans now.

The newlyweds were at their animated best enjoying each other’s company, giving the media persons best moments to capture.

The bride’s father Anil Kapoor seemed extremely happy on the occasion acknowledging the cameras dressed in a stylish suit.

Sonam’s cousin Arjun Kapoor poses for the cameras dressed in a bandhgala. The actor was seen having a gala time with Ranveer Singh during the wedding earlier in the day.

Sonam's uncle Boney Kapoor arrived with his daughters Janvhi and Khushi for the reception. Janhvi looked beautiful in a shimmery lehenga while Khushi opted for shiny, floral gown.

Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan were one of the classiest-looking at the event. The couple complemented each other’s styles beautifully, the former in a bandhgala suit and the latter in a stunning gown.

While it was black for SRK and Gauri, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan chose shades of white very well with the former’s sherwani and the latter’s embroidered dress.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who are rumoured to be dating, gave another reason to think so by posing together. The former looked stylish in a white sherwani suit while the latter looked beautiful in a lemon-green lehenga.

Their ‘Brahmastra’ director and close friend Ayan Mukerji was also present for the celebrations and posed with them.

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna looked simple yet lovely together in their traditional black and white outfits.

Varun Dhawan, looking handsome in his traditional style, almost made it official with his girlfriend Natasha Dalal, by making a rare public appearance for the cameras.

Shahid and Mira Kapoor were another colour-co-ordinated couple at the event with their stylish ethnic outfits.

Vidya Balan chose a saree, her most favourite apparel, as she posed with her husband Siddharth Roy Kapur.

Katrina Kaif was one of the best dressed on the evening in a red shiny lehenga with floral design while her sister Isabelle also looked good in her ethnic outfit.

Ranveer Singh went from traditional at the wedding earlier in the day to Western in a suit for the reception as he posed with his frequent collaborator Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Kangana Ranaut looked dazzling in a saree as she posed with filmmakers Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani.

The best-looking group from the wedding earlier in the day, didn’t disappoint at the reception, only that Taimur was missing. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor looked stunning in their contrasting styles of sarees while the bearded Saif looked royal in their company.

Karan Johar arrived with his mother Hiroo Johar for the reception dressed in a thick sherwani suit with leaf print.

Rani Mukerji came out in style in a golden lehenga. She was one of the few who was present for all the pre-wedding celebrations of Sonam.

Rekha as always defied her age, looking too beautiful and elegant in her trademark saree and traditional jewellery.

Madhuri Dixit Nene looked beautiful in an embroidered gown accompanied by her husband Sriram Nene.

Sidharth Malhotra and Aditya Roy Kapur posed together at the event, While the former chose a traditional style, the latter chose Western formal for the occasion.
