English boy band The Vamps recently collaborated with Indian musicians Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani on Beliya. After the release of the song, which was applauded by many, the band has arrived in India to create some noise for the track.

Bradley Simpson, Connor Ball, James McVey and Tristan Evans, members of The Vamps, arrived in Mumbai on Monday, and were greeted with a warm welcome from their fans. The band had made known their wish to visit India earlier, thanks to their loyal fan base here and they now plan to explore Mumbai and make most of their time here. The band plans to perform alongside Vishal-Shekar at Hard Rock Café in Andheri tomorrow.

The composers had been in London for a while and had spent time with the band bonding over multiple music sittings. Soon enough, they recorded Beliya, which has quite the Indian essence to it; the song is an amalgamation of Indian folk elements and Western pop rock.

Shekhar had earlier told us how much the duo had enjoyed recording the song. “It was superb to work with The Vamps. They are good guys and extremely talented,” he said. “We went in not really knowing each other, but in a few minutes of being there, they had taken the song that we had created for them and added their own vibe to it. There was a comfort and joy to the sessions. That is something you can hear in the track.”
