4 held for data theft, Nigerian on the run

Crime branch officials have arrested four persons and are on the lookout for a foreign national for data theft and credit card fraud. Officials have seized around 91 credit cards belonging to various banks from those arrested.

The arrested accused have been identified as Faizal Alfat Raza (39), Notin Tukaram Ingale (25), Jaising Mansingh Rathid (26 and Vishwajeet Danmbar Chattary (26) and are residents of interior Maharashtra. The absconding accused is said to be a Nigerian national who would help the accused obtain the data by hacking into websites of various banks.
