Mumbai: Former Indian cricketer S. Sreesanth has become a father again. The one-time fast-medium pace bowler’s wife Bhuveneshwari on Wednesday delivered a healthy baby boy at the privately run Surya Hospital in Santa Cruz.

The 33-year-old took to social media to share his excitement with his friends and relatives. “I am delighted to tell you all our second Child arrives this Beautiful morning. A big, beautiful and healthy baby Boy! Love and respect (sic),” he tweeted.

He then went on to tweet: “I am delighted to tell you all our second child arrived and we have named him SURYASREE which means Shine as bright as the Sun. Suryasree has brought sunshine to our lives. I am delighted with the hospital that responded promptly and made the birthing very comfortable.”

The arrival of Suryasree is a ray of sunshine for the couple, which has faced a lot of troubles in the past. Sreesanth, who has been a part of India’s 2007 World T20 and World Cup 2011 winning teams, was found guilty of spot fixing during the 2013 Indian Premier League and was subsequently banned by the The Board Of Control For Cricket In India for life. The cricketer also spent some time behind bars over the issue. Bhuvneshwari, however, stuck with him in his time of difficulty and married him the same year. In May 2015, the couple had their first child — a daughter — who they named Sree Sanvika.
