New Delhi: With an aim to follow the path of E-governance, Laxmibai College has become the first off-campus college of Delhi University to go digital for all its academic and administrative purposes.

In a bid to make it possible for students to directly communicate with the principal, the college has developed its own mobile application. Through this app, the students can seek answers for any query or know about any events happening in the college.

“The app has been developed as an interactive platform not only for communication between me and students but also with the faculty. It has made the way of communicating with them much easier,” college principal Pratyush Vatsala said.

In addition, the app also includes a library book surfing through which the students can simply search for E-journals using the college Internet connectivity without going to the library. Other tabs include an e-attendance system which marks the attendance of students automatically and Laxmibai wallet, through which students can make payment anywhere across the campus.
