The university claimed that the site would not crash again as they have updated it with required upgradation.

NEW DELHI: In a bid to ease the admission process for the students, the Delhi University has updated its website through which it can provide specific info on status of available seats and available courses in and other required info. The university claimed that the site would not crash again as they have updated it with required upgradation.

The university website is constantly updated with the latest information on admissions with forms, procedures and information bulletin also being available on it, is the first that number of features have been added to help students in the process of admission. Which includes verification through One Time Password  (OTP) and auto-selected course list, which automatically mark all courses for the applicant. Further, after the cut-off an applicant can see the suggestion of courses and will calculate the marks in online calculator, which will help students to examine their best of four percentage, also it determines their eligibility for different courses, students will also have an everyday dashboard for vacant seats for their courses, said Sukanta Dutta, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Admission, Delhi University.

“This time the applicants do not need to submit their original certificates as well as their migration and character certificate. The applicants applying under Other Backward Class (OBC) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) quotas will need to submit certificates, which were issued from March 31, 2019 onwards. While forensic verification of certificates will take place, the verification could also be carried out at the college level once admissions are finalised,” Mr Dutta said.
