Google picks up Pune girl’s doodle on Children’s Day

The theme for Google’s national level competition was 'If I could teach anyone anything, it would be'.

The creator of this year’s Google Doodle for Children’s Day is an 11-year-old girl from Pune. Anvita Prashant Telang’swinning entry is called ‘Living in the present’ which encourages living in the moment and enjoying the small pleasures of life.

The theme for Google’s national level competition was 'If I could teach anyone anything, it would be'. Google India carried out an elaborate voting process in order to select from the various entries.

Children’s Day is celebrated every year in India on the occasion of former Prime Minster Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s birthday on 14th November.
