Sweetcorn usli (Sundal)
Ingredients
- 1 cup sweet corn (roasted and shredded)
- 1 or two onions
- (finely chopped)
- 1 tomato (finely chopped)
- Three to four green chillies (finely chopped)
- A small bunch of coriander leaves (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- A pinch of turmeric
- Salt to taste.
- 2 tbsp oil
Method
- Take a thick bottom pan, and heat two tbsp oil. Add chopped onion, ginger-garlic paste and saute until onions turn golden brown.
- Add chopped tomato, green chillies and saute again.
- Add red chilli powder and garam masala powder and fry till the raw smell of the masala is gone.
- Add roasted and shredded sweetcorn. Sprinkle salt to taste and finally garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot.
