Road to victory

Apropos the editorial, In low taste (Oct.8), the standard of Indian politics has gone so low that a state chief minister calls the Prime Minister “coward” and “psychopath” and vice-president of a political party calls him “khoon ka dalal” and one “hiding behind the blood of the soldiers”. The Congress paid heavy electoral price for Sonia Gandhi’s remarks “maut ka saudagar” and “zeher ki kheti” directed against Narendra Modi in terms of humiliating defeats in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. It is amazing that Rahul Gandhi still believes that he can lead his party to electoral victory by demeaning the Prime Minister.
