The credibility of the Tata Group has taken a hit following the abrupt sacking of Cyrus Mistry without offering any explanation. The company failed to play by the rules of transparency and best practices in corporate governance. While it got away by taking moral high ground of acting in its best interests, the company is finally answerable to its shareholders.
