Killing terror

Dates like 9/11, 26/11 and now 13/11 will live on in human history for the precision planning and execution of the cold-blooded murder of innocents. While terrorism is attributed to religious indoctrination, fundamentalists do not display any humanity in their acts, betraying a degree of madness. As Prime Minister Narendra Modi rightly said at the G20 meet in Turkey, there’s a need to delink terror from religion and see it as something that “not only takes a tragic toll of lives, (but) also extracts a huge economic cost and threatens our way of life”.
