Historic verdict

The SC’s ruling against the unjust practice of paying less wages to contract workers than their regular counterparts is historic. As pointed out by the SC, getting less pay for the same work amounts to an assault on one’s honour. The government should heed the SC’s advice and do away with pay disparity between regular and casual workers.
