Don’t talk to Pakistan

The much-anticipated talks between the Indian and Pakistani foreign secretaries were on expected lines. What more can one expect from a stubborn neighbour that keeps picking up the Kashmir rant as if terrorism is something that can be pushed on the periphery. Pakistan’s foreign secretary, Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, alleged that Indian intelligence agencies were responsible for the unrest in Balochistan. I think the point has come in Indo-Pak relations where it’s futile to talk to Pakistan. What are we getting out of these so-called confidence-building measures and bilateral talks Nothing. India should call off all talks with Pakistan.
