Discipline & punish

I condemn MPs who create nuisance in Parliament, wasting valuable time on non-issues and delaying the legislative process. MPs must act in a responsible manner and realise that voters’ behaviour is contingent on their performance in Parliament, and that they are accountable for every rupee spent by them. Their pay should be linked to their attendance in Parliament. This will help the key Goods and Services Tax Bill win smooth passage and help meet the April 1, 2016 deadline for its implementation.
