It is hoped that the election of Anurag Thakur as the new president of the BCCI will pave the way for more efficient and youthful management of cricket in India.
It is hoped that the election of Anurag Thakur as the new president of the BCCI will pave the way for more efficient and youthful management of cricket in India. Mr Thakur is also an MP, and as a legislator he should adhere to the stringent roadmap for management of Indian cricket laid out by the Justice Lodha Committee. Otherwise he would lose the gains made under his predecessor Shashank Manohar.
