A better approach

Nobody is against a government celebrating and highlighting its deeds for the year gone by, but does one need to spend crores on advertisements to put the point across, more so when major parts of the country are suffering from drought and farmers are committing suicide Good work never needs drum-beating. Couldn’t the crores spent on the publicity extravaganza have been donated to farmers in Marathwada and other drought-hit areas to save lives Probably a “different” approach to celebrating the completion of two years would have done the Narendra Modi government more credit.
