Sailors aboard the world’s oldest active aircraft carrier, INS Viraat (above), set to become a marine museum in Vizag once it is decommissioned later this year, line up to salute Navy Chief Admiral R.K. Dhowan (from left), President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi as they watch the International Fleet Review from aboard the INS Sumitra in Visakhapatnam on Saturday.

Accompanied by Mr Modi, Mr Mukherjee, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, embarked on the presidential yacht, INS Sumitra, and reviewed the imposing international flotilla, a combination of ships from 50 countries. This is the 11th fleet review since Independence and the second international one in India.
