Lucknow: A BJP MLA’s son and supporters thrashed an employee at a toll plaza in Mathura district on Tuesday and the whole incident was caught on the CCTV cameras.

According to reports, a boom barrier apparently fell on the MLA’s car when the vehicle was speeding through the toll barrier.

The toll workers said that the SUV sped through just after another car had been cleared to pass. In CCTV footage, two employees are seen bringing down the barrier as the car was trying to pass without paying.

Soon after the MLA’s son and supporters got out of the SUV and beat up the toll employee while the MLA remained seated in the vehicle
