Gwen Stefani’s warm gesture

Gwen Stefani called a young fan on stage at her concert on Wednesday in West Palm Beach, Florida. The fan was apparently bullied from the fifth grade and he used Gwen’s music as his way of coping.

The boy’s mother held up a sign at the concert which the pop star took and read aloud for the crowd. The boy hugged Stefani through tears and was the recipient of some moving words.

Gwen posted a video of the incident on Instagram. “About three years ago when things were hard in my life I prayed to God everyday that I could get a chance to use my gift that he gave me and make a difference in some way in this world — last night this little guy was the answer to my prayers. #zerotoleranceforbullies #onelove #thisiswhatthetruthfeelslike,” she captioned the video.

She also had the boy and his mother come backstage to snap a photo with her, it was reported on JustJared.com.
