The actress could’ve been ‘Britain’s Britney Spears’.

Emily Blunt is one of the most sought-after actresses today but things would have been very different if she had not backed out of a music contract as a teenager, reported Dailymail.co.uk.

Emily, in an interview with The Sydney Morning Herald, revealed that she was apparently approached by a recording agent when she was still in high school. The Devil Wears Prada star said that she took up the offer only because she thought it was cool and went on to be groomed as Britain’s next popstar and even went on to record a demo before she decided to pursue acting.

However, the actress pulled out of the contract in the last minute as she felt she was being groomed to be ‘Britain’s Britney Spears’.
