Dark, deep vampy lips

Courtesy shows like Vampire Diaries, True Blood and the Twilight franchise, ‘Vampire lips’ have become quite the craze. While it is ideal for vampire-themed parties, this kind of look can also be worn by women who are willing to try a bolder look. As the idea here is on accentuating the lips in deeper and darker colours, you can try a few variations using shades of purple and red with a gradient technique, where one colour blends into the other.

This way, you can extend your lip line and shape, to make it look fuller and sculpted for those who have a thinner upper or lower lip. Outline lips with a dark colour such as maroon, dark red, burgundy. Draw a very sharp line instead of a curved V-line on the cupid bow with pointed corners. Fill the lips inside with the same colour or a slightly lighter shade. Leave the eyes nude with lots of mascara and black eye pencil in the water line.
