Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren were ‘enemies’

Former actresses Sophia Loren and the late Elizabeth Taylor’s rivalry has been documented by photographer Gianni Bozzacchi in his new memoir My Life In Focus, with Liz reportedly “disliking” Sophia — who worked with her former husband Richard Burton.

The photographer wrote in his book that Liz, who was married to Richard twice, considered Sophia her “enemy” after their first divorce in 1974, when the two were shooting for the film The Voyage.

Gianna also revealed that he had once unsuccessfully tried to get Richard and Liz back together again by throwing a dinner party after the divorce, but ultimately failed to do so.
