Rob Delaney’s son dies of cancer

In a heartwrenching post on Facebook, Catastrophe actor Rob Delaney revealed that his two-and-a-half year old son, Henry, has sadly passed away due to braincancer.

The toddler had been diagnosed with a tumour in his brain in 2016, just after his first birthday. What then followed was persistent vomiting and weight loss. Despite surgery and treatment, the sad demise came in January.

JustJared.com reports that in the post, Rob explained, “Henry was a joy. He was smart, funny, and mischievous and we had so many wonderful adventures together, particularly after he’d moved home following fifteen months living in hospitals.”

The actor thanked the nurses, doctors and charity workers who helped Henry, and provided information to people who would like to donate to help very sick children.
