Parmanu to clash with Pari now?

The 2018 movie release calendar is going berserk, thanks to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s delayed magnum opus Padmaavat. As we hear of movies hastily being shifted to safer areas than the Republic Day weekend, when the movie opens, we hear John Abraham’s Parmanu is being February 23 to March 2.

Interestingly, Pari the eerie thriller featuring Anushka Sharma, is also scheduled for March 2. It was earlier scheduled for February 9, but was moved forward to February 23, when Neeraj Pandey’s political espionage drama Aiyaary was moved from January 26 to February 9. All of this because Padmaavat’s release date was said to be January 25.

Interestingly, Parmanu and Pari have a common co-producer — Prernaa Arora. This would be one of the rare times when a producer will compete with herself on the box office.
