Varun Dhawan and his pricing woes

After the super-success of his last film Judwaa 2, Varun Dhawan hiked his price for both films, and brand endorsements. However, his hike has not gone down well with the brands.

Although Varun has a handful of brands as of now, the problem arose when newer ones wanted to sign him. They realised that the Badlapur actor doubled his price, which meant an enormous amount.

A source reveals, “At first, brands didn’t take the new price seriously since it was twice as much as his previous fee. Now, a couple of brand teams are having second thoughts on signing him up. Varun’s management is now talking to the actor to quote a right price so that he doesn’t not lose out.”
