In addition to acting, actress Bhumi Pednekar is also passionate about conserving the environment. In the past few weeks, the actress has often advocated for animal rights, aforestation, water conservation, and much more as a climate warrior.

And now, spreading awareness on how one’s dining habits can limit the production of waste, the Pati, Patni Aur Woh actress shared an important lesson.

Taking to Instagram, the Bala actress posted a story in which she is seen holding a durable five-sectioned steel plate instead of melamine, glass, ceramic or plastic ones – all of which can cause damage to the environment.
Additionally, the sections would avoid one to use bowls, thus saving water when washing the dishes. “Change your habits. Use simple steel thali’s, less dishes, less water usage,” wrote the actress.

Recently, the environment conscious casting director-turned-actress had also interacted with several young climate warriors on World Environment Day.
