We all know Supriya Pathak best as Hansa. But that is not all to her credit. Right from her debut film Kalyug to Bazaar to a strong performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela, Supriya has come to be known for her meticulous performances.

Now the veteran actor is coming back with her best television show Kichdi and is all set to enthral the audiences once again with her comic timings.

“When I was told that we are doing another series of Kichidi my reaction was indeed as if the wish of not only me but the audiences who loved watching the show was fulfilled again,” says a happy Supriya.

She goes on to recall how people love her Kichdi character. “People tell me ‘Especially while we are stressed out, we watch just one episode of Kichdi and immediately feel de-stressed’,” adding, “In fact I watch Netflix these days for something light. So when I came to know about Kichdi being revived I was elated.”

But these days what really brings joy is her granddaughter, Misha Kapoor. “She is a doll and our life. Whenever she is at home, Pankaj and I love to play with her. But she is really smart, and calls me Ba,” she shares.

Talking about her relationship with actor and husband Pankaj Kapur, Supriya says it means everything to her. “My life really came about shinning and riding on a high when he came into my life. Frankly speaking, I am indebted to him in every way. I definitely hope and pray everyone has this kind of a married life — contented and happy,” she smiles.

The actress also reveals that the couple love to spend time alone and it is Pankaj who does all the talking. “We love each other’s company. Whenever it is just the two of us he does all the talking, I am a silent listener. But we have to be alone. He does not talk much around others or family members ,” she concludes.
