Ekta is currently busy promoting her film Veere Di Wedding.

Ekta Kapoor is known to offer out-of-the-box viewing choices to her audience. After exploring films and TV, Ekta is now discovering the digital platform. She is now in the process of creating projects through ALTBalaji.

However, while there have been reports about Ekta remaking Game of Thrones in a desi avatar, a source close to the production house denies any such thing.

“Ekta is experimenting with different subjects, but there is no Indian version of Game of Thrones. She will now be making a web series with Mouni Roy, titled Mehrunissa,” the source said.

Ekta is currently busy promoting her film Veere Di Wedding.
