RP Academy cruise into semi-finals

RP Academy beat Players Academy by six wickets to enter the semi-finals of the 6th all-India Yashoda Cup cricket tournament at the Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium in the capital on Saturday. RP Academy won the toss and asked Players Academy to bat. They were all out for 116 in 28.1 overs as Sandeep Yadav (4/19) and Ketan Pawar (3/48) ripped through their batting line-up. Vivek Rana (54) showed some resilience while Bablu Kumar chipped in with 17. In reply, Rahul Prasad (56 not out) led the charge while Badrish Naithani added 36 for RP Academy. They overhauled the target in 17.2 overs, losing four wickets in the process. Yadav was adjudjed match of the match. On Sunday, Air Force will lock horns with Hari Singh Academy for a place in the semi-finals.
