Mahindra wants to cater more to the off-road SUV enthusiasts with the new Mahindra Thar Daybreak customization kit that is made available at Rs. 9.6 lakh. The customized Mahindra Thar Daybreak was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo, early this year.

The customization does come with plenty of attractions, which are also functional to improve the off-roading capabilities of the SUV. Now, Mahindra has brought to the market, which it only showcased earlier this year.

The customization kit is priced at Rs. 9.6 lakh, which will be carried out by Mahindra’s sub-brand Mahindra Customization. They will also take about two months to perform the customization on your Mahindra Thar. The off-road vehicle also came without a solid roof and so the Daybreak customization kit will do it for you. The solid roof is made available at a price of Rs. 1.5 lakh.

The biggest monstrous change in the Daybreak customization is the mammoth 37-inch Maxxis Trepador tyres that look like they will emerge triumphant over even the most uninhabitable off-road terrains.

Take a look at the rear-mounted spare tyre. It is sure to astound you. The heavy-duty winch bumpers further improves its all-terrain, off-roading capabilities. Mahindra Thar Daybreak also gets bucket seats, roll cage for extra protection, waterproof speakers, etc. on the inside, while the exterior gets LED DRLs and other minor visual changes beside the major ones.

However, as usual with the mechanics, the 2.5-litre CRDe diesel engine is retained, which makes 105 bhp at 3.800 rpm and 247 Nm of torque at 1,800-2,000 rpm.

With the Daybreak customization, the Mahindra Thar looks even more awe-inspiring and like a war machine on road. The Mahindra Thar Daybreak is a sure great addition to the niche off-road SUV segment in India, whose buyers are only die-hard enthusiasts.
