Sidharth Malhotra mulls over buying a home in Pali Hill

Sidharth Malhotra seems to have played his cards right and is currently nestled in a comfortable position in the industry. The actor has been living in a plush sea-view apartment in Bandra all these years but it’s a rented accommodation. It has been two years since Sidharth has been wanting to buy his dream home but nothing so far has caught his fancy. The actor had plans to make a purchase two years ago during the release of Ek Villain, but that didn’t materialise. A year later, during the making of Brothers, when he discussed his plans about buying a house with Akshay Kumar, the senior actor gave him some pep talk — Akki told him to dream big, to not just look at buying an apartment, but to consider buying the entire floor.

We now hear that Sidharth has checked out a new property at Pali Hill, a locality that is home to some of the biggest stars in the industry starting from Dilip Kumar and Sanjay Dutt to Ranbir Kapoor and Emraan Hashmi. A source says, “He and the builder were in talks about the amenities and pricing. However, the actor felt that the builder was asking for more than what the property deserves. So he is not sure if he is going to go for it. He likes the area and the locality. But it remains to be seen if he seals the deal.”

On the work front, Sid’s been keeping busy. The Kapoor & Sons actor recently wrapped up shooting for Baar Baar Dekho and has just started work on his next with director duo Raj and D.K of Go Goa Gone fame.
