Raees-Sultan clash still on

It seems like the industry hasn’t learned a lesson from the Bajirao Mastani-Dilwale clash that caused both films to lose out on a considerable share of box office earnings. Two other B’wood biggies — Raees (starring Shah Rukh Khan) and Sultan (Salman Khan) — are going ahead with the same release date, despite recent speculation that such a clash would be avoided. But our industry sources confirm that neither film is willing to back down for now.

Raees producer Ritesh Dishwani put an end to the rumours that the film’s release date would be changed to avoid the clash by tweeting, “Some people spreading rumours about #Raees release being moved Like I said, RUMOURS.”

Perhaps in this case, the outcome would have been better had those rumours been true
