Poor Ameesha Patel can never quite enjoy the limelight by herself. Just a day after she announced that she would be romancing Sunny Deol in a new film, Bhaiyyaji Superphit, we found out that Sunny had also roped in his former co-star of many ventures Preity Zinta, for the same film. While it isn’t clear if Preity will be cast opposite Sunny, thereby creating a love triangle, the fact remains that as a bonafide star, she is sure to enjoy quite a bit of the screen space. All of which may not spell the best news for Ameesha.
A source confirmed, “Yes, Preity is almost finalised for this film that will be directed by Neeraj Pathak. She and Sunny go back a long way and when Bhaiyyaji Superhit came calling, they decided to work together again.”
While Ameesha is no doubt thinking that she will be recreating her Gadar magic with Sunny, it isn’t certain whether Preity’s inclusion will play spoilsport with that little dream. “Arshad Warsi and Tusshar Kapoor are also a part of the film, although we do not know if Preity is being paired with either of them,” our source said. Keep your fingers crossed, Ameesha!
