Genelia D’souza to be seen in a cameo for Force 2

Actress Genelia D’souza, who has been away from films and tending to her two babies, will do a cameo in Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s second edition of the 2011 film Force, Force 2. The film is being produced by Vipul Shah and directed by Abhinay Deo. It will feature actors John Abraham, Sonakshi Sinha and Tahir Bhasin in leading roles.

A source close to the makers reveals, “Vipul Shah and Abhinay Deo were very keen to rope in Genelia D’zouza to play a cameo as she played the lead role in the first franchise in 2011 and her character was shown to be dead. The script demands a flashback with John, hence Genelia was approached.”

When contacted, director Abhinay Deo confirmed the news and said, “Yes, we have shot an engaging cameo with Genelia recently. It is not exactly a cameo but her part is set in a modern day context. John only feels she is alive in his head.”

Abhinay Deo, who also directed the edge-of- the-seat thriller television series 24, is looking forward to release the film on November 18 2016.
