YHM crew falls sick post water sequence

One of television’s most popular shows, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, faced a setback recently after many of its crewmembers fell ill at the same time. It happened after the unit filmed a stunt sequence. A source from the production team reveals, “For the sequence, the crew had to be in water for around 10 hours. The shift that day had started at 7 in the morning and they packed up only at 3 in the night. It had to look like a mid-evening sequence. The next day many crewmembers had fallen sick, some of them even got rashes after shooting in dirty water for long hours. The show has no bank of episodes and we’re having a tough time in delivering an episode, while battling health issues. That’s why each episode is taking longer to shoot than usual, leaving the team with no day offs.”

PSST: The otherwise formal Ranaji aka Siddhant Karnick from Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani recently shot a dance sequence with Drashti Dhami. We hear Siddhant got a bit over excited while filming the same. A l’il birdie from the sets reveals, “Siddhant had to dance while playing the dhol. He got so excited that the strap of the dhol that was around his neck broke and it came crashing down, due to which the shoot had to be halted till things were restored.”
