Tanvi Thakkar takes a break for movie

Actress Tanvi Thakkar, who is currently seen playing the role of Sharmila in Bahu Hamari Rajni_kant, is all set to star in a regional movie with her fiancée, Aditya Kapadia. The shooting for the movie is scheduled to start this month in Gujarat, prompting the actress to take a month long break from the television serial. Currently, the actress is preparing to travel to Gujarat to shoot for the film, titled Aav Taru Kari Nakhu.

Tanvi says, “I am taking about 20 days off for my first Gujarati film. The role isn’t a challenge for me since I believe I can adapt to any role. However, what’s challenging is the language — I am a Kutchi.”

The real life couple didn’t even know that they were being paired opposite each other in the movie. We decided to play spoilsport and break the news to her. said Tanvi, “I guess the producers wanted to throw me a surprise! We wanted to play a couple on-screen for a long time now. This wish is now fulfilled.” The duo have played sibilings onscreen in the past, and now have finally got a chance to romance each other onscreen.

The actress may have got a big break with this film, but she states that the TV show will always remain a priority. She says, “The show is very close to my heart. I believe I bagged the film because of the show. The makers have been supportive of my film schedule and have given me time off from Bahu Hamari... I am very grateful to them.” The actress will resume shooting for Bahu Hamari Rajni_kant after completing her film.
