Life certainly hasn’t been the same for model-turned-actor Parth Samthaan after the immense popularity of his show, MTV’s Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan. The former Pune resident talks to us about his plans to hit the big screen sometime soon and more”

How has life changed after Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan I am delighted to know that people love the show and especially my work in it. It’s been an exciting journey so far. Feels good to know that you are on the right track.

Who do you bond the best with, on the sets I bond with everyone on the sets but I am close to Charlie and Ayaz. I bond with them the best.

How do you balance your popularity with your personal life Situations have changed now. I always have to be nice and humble to people. I am very conscious about my image.

What is your daily schedule like Besides shooting for 12-13 hours, I don’t get time for anything else but since I have become a fitness freak, I do keep a check on my gym and food.

Will you be seen in a reality show ever Honestly, I had been offered several reality shows but I rejected them. I think I am not that kind of person who will voice out my personal life on television. If I would ever do a reality show, it has to be as a host not as a participant. I would love to host a TV reality show.

People say that you’re a very reserved person, is that true Yes, I am a very reserved and private person. This is the way I am.

Any contemporaries you admire Honestly, as an actor I hardly get time to watch television. Earlier, I used to see English sitcoms but now I don’t get time to watch my own show.

In what way does television reach out to the audience that films do not I am actually surprised and taken aback at the way television reaches out to the audience. Unlike films, one doesn’t have to go out and buy a ticket to see the content. People can easily switch on the television sitting at home.

How has TV changed you, for better or worse The good thing is that I have grown up as an actor over these years and the bad thing is that the way I am leading my life is very hectic. I overlook my loved ones due to lack of time.

One thing you want to change in yourself I’m way too short tempered. I am working on it though.

Any plans to debut on the big screen Yes. I do have plans. I am in talks and a few meetings are lined up. I pray that things fall into place. Hope to get something good. I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Any wish list of the directors you want to work with in B’wood Yes, I want to work with Imtiaz Ali, Neeraj Pandey and Rajkumar Hirani.
