Silsila takes five-year leap
The criteria for a leap in fiction shows have always been the desperation to garner ratings or a drastic change in the storyline to break the monotony.

The criteria for a leap in fiction shows have always been the desperation to garner ratings or a drastic change in the storyline to break the monotony. The newly launched Silsila Pyaar Ka has become the first show to break this stereotype by introducing a five-year leap in its story right in the second week of its telecast in an attempt to be different. The story so far has shown protagonist Kajal played by actress Chhavvi Pandey getting married to Akshay played by Sehban Azim after some fast paced twists and turns. Post leap, the new track will show Kajal happily settled with Akshay with a four-year-old daughter Sakshi played by child artiste Tvisha Solanki.
Commenting on the leap, Chhavvi says, “It’s a very exciting change in the story. Post the five-year leap, I will be shown leading a happy married life. Since it is a Rashmi Sharma show, the viewers can expect a lot of twist and turns coming their way. What will happen to my marriage and what Raunak will do next is something viewers will have to wait and watch.”
