There has been a lot of talk about the relationship between actors Mouni Roy and Mohit Raina. While the duo has never publicly admitted about their relationship, rumours linking the two and reports of their supposed break-up have been quite common in the gossip mills. However, in a recent development, Mohit himself has now hinted about his relationship status with Mouni.

During an interview, Mouni expressed that she liked everything about Mohit and that if he were to ‘pop the question’ to her, she would readily accept. We caught up with the actor and asked him what his response was to Mouni’s answer. And the usually reserved actor only had this to say: “I will keep that in mind.”

The couple have been known to express their fondness for each other on the work front, especially on social media. We we pointed this out to Mohit, the actor responded, “We both work for the same channel, so I am in touch with Mouni. I am told that her show Naagin has garnered a TRP rating of around 5-6 and I will try and match the same. I have only managed to catch a couple of episodes of her show and she was great.”

The Devon ke Dev Mahadev star, who is currently portraying the role of emperor Ashoka in the historical show, Chakravartin Ashok Samrat, reveals that he intentionally handpicks larger than life roles to spruce up his otherwise boring life. He says, “I search for thrill in my characters because I am a ‘boring person’. Also, I admire the hardships that Ashoka had to go through to reach the throne.” The actor also reveals that he is not very fond of ‘lover-boy’ roles. “I have done scenes where I’ve had to hold the hand of a girl and tell her that I love her. And frankly I did not enjoy that much. A love-boy will never go through the kind of journey that an Ashoka does. So I am very fortunate that I get to do meaningful roles on the screen.”
