One of TV’s popular heroes, Ashish Sharma is back with his next show Siya Ke Ram. Speaking about his break from television after Rangrasiya Ashish tells us, “I spent all my time travelling, right from Europe to Maldives. During my shoot I couldn’t give time to Archana (Taide). She deserved my time so we just whisked away.”

On the work front, fans had loved his pairing with Sanaya Irani. Is he confident that his pairing with new co-star Madirakshi Mundle will get a similar response “Yes, people loved Sanaya and me together. I’m glad I got to work with her and would love to do it again. And yes, it takes time for fans to accept a new pairing. I haven’t begun shooting with Madirakshi yet, we have only shot the promos.” So what excites him about his new show Ashish says, “I love the fact that although the subject is mythology, we are not going over the top. There are no heavy

costumes or props.”The story is about Ramayan from Sita’s point of view. “Ram would be incomplete without Sita, so at no point did I have doubts about featuring in a women-oriented show. I respect women but do not necessarily believe that women need to compete with men. You can ask my wife — there has always been mutual respect between us and I believe women should be respected for what they are, at no point should they feel the need to be like men.”

TV actor Karanvir Bohra is currently shooting for the first schedule of his big screen project in Manali, since the last 10 days. And now we hear the makers have roped in another popular actor to join the team — Samir Kochhar who was last seen on the big screen in 2012 in the movie Dangerous Ishhq.

A little birdie from the sets of Yeh Hai Mohabattein reveals that the character of Mrs Bhalla may be popular, but the Pakistani actress is contemplating quitting the show. Our source says, “She moved all the way from London to India for this show. But she was recently heard complaining about how she has barely anything to do in the show these days. The show is aired seven days a week, so she is called on sets and made to wait hours on end to shoot just one scene featuring her. The actress is contemplating quitting and returning to her home in London.”
