HMD Global-owned brought back the iconic 3310 back to life this year, and later released the 3G variant of the phone. The first version could connect to a very limited number of bands, but the 3G version offered much better connectivity.

Now the company has more plans for the Nokia 3310 in 2018. According to the latest TENAA listing, a 4G variant of the device is in works. Luckily for the fanatics of the phone, there aren’t any alterations in the design. The listing was first spotted by NokiaMob.

YunOS is capable of running apps seen on Android, as it is based on AOSP. This also suggests we might get to see popular apps such as WhatsApp running on the Nokia 3310 4G.

It’s clear that this might not be the most anticipated phone coming out in 2018, but it will be fun to grab one and take a trip down the memory lane or use it as your secondary device. Since it has 4G connectivity, there will be no concern of it being left unnoticed as carriers will certainly close the doors for 3G networks in a not very distant future.

The price for the Nokia 4G is still in question. The previous variant was launched at a price of $60, so we might see a rise in the price tag here.
