Xiaomi recently rolled out its latest MIUI 10 update to its Redmi Note 5 Pro, and now the latest smartphone from the company to receive the MIUI 10 stable update is the Redmi Note 5. Apart from these, the Chinese smartphone maker has already rolled out the update to the Mi 5, Mi Mix 2S, Mi 8, and Redmi Y2. The build number of the update is 10.0.2.0.

The newest version of the software offers Artificial Intelligence (AI)- powered features, full-screen gestures, new overhauled UI with redesigned recent apps overview, and more. Additionally, Xiaomi is gradually rolling out the update in batches to 12 smartphones.

As for the specifications, the Redmi Note 5, which was launched earlier this year, features a 5.99-inch full HD+ 18:9 display and is powered by a Snapdragon 625 chipset aided by up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage. The handset draws its power from a 4000mAh battery. Optics wise, there are a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter for selfies. The device carries a price label of Rs 9,999 for the 3GB variant and Rs 11,999 for the 4GB variant.
