Now you don't need to waste hours standing in lines to get your cash.
A Delhi-based start-up is offering customers ‘chotus’ who will wait in lines outside banks and ATMs on their behalf. The recent demonetisation of Rs. 500 and Rs.1000 currency notes in the country has compelled many people to spend hours outside financial institutions in order to withdraw their money.
BookMyChotu, which calls itself the ‘first on-demand helper booking website’, lets you enlist the services of such temporary helpers when you’d rather be anywhere else than spend hours trying to get access to hard cash.
Here are the rates the firm has fixed for hiring a ‘chotu’:
Rs.90 for 1 hour
Rs.170 for 2 hours
Rs.260 for 3 hours
Rs.330 for 4 hours
Rs.380 for 5 hours
Rs.450 for 6 hours
Rs.500 for 7 hours
Rs.550 for 8 hours
